We recognize that educating children is the primary responsibility of parents (Deut 6:5-7; Eph. 6:1-4). When students attend Deo Gloria, parents temporarily delegate that responsibility to the school. With that delegation of responsibility also comes, temporarily, a delegation of authority, according to the principle in loco parentis. Therefore, students will be expected to show respect and obedience to teachers and other adults as they would their parents.
